Portugal including the island of madeira holds some special memories for Lucy. Lucy visited Madeira around 4 years ago - having worked in the travel industry for a good number of years, Lucy built up an idea of what Madeira would be like in her head - “sleepy and quiet, where elderly people went to holiday”. A pleasant welcome and a much loved week later and Lucy had fallen in love with this unassuming island full of beauty, adventure and activity. She also fell in love with the people and it’s where she first fell in love with street photography. Later Lucy visited Lisbon and once again fell in love with the people and charm, before visiting Porto and getting well and truly surprised by the festivities and celebrations of São João.
