Rooted in storytelling, Lucy creates emotive, transportive images that capture the soul of London and the destinations she visits. Drawn to atmosphere, light, and quiet moments, her work goes beyond surface impressions to reveal a deeper sense of place. Each photograph reflects not just a location, but the people, cultures, and fleeting details that shape it. Through Lucy’s lens, the familiar becomes cinematic, and the unseen is gently brought into focus-inviting viewers to pause, feel, and connect.
‘I love people watching, I always have. To be able to wonder what that person is thinking at that given moment in time fascinates me. I want to know. I want to step into their world for one tiny moment and capture their emotions and thoughts, and to feel what they are going through. You have to feel what you photograph whether that’s a portrait, a product or a place, and I want for other people to feel what I felt when I pressed the shutter. For me that’s incredibly powerful’.
