Hi, I'm Lucy

For me, photography and writing are not just about capturing or scribbling down a moment. It’s about the freedom I have to make something unique when I pick up my camera or my pen and notebook. It’s about tapping into my vision, expressing myself and using my imagination. I want to evoke a feeling, whether that’s visually through a photo or through written words. I want to draw you in, I want to grab your attention, and I want to tell you a story.

Most recently, I had a dream come true - publishing my first solo book with Trope Publishing containing photos and words. I like to describe my book a little bit like a map of my wandering feet: miniature moments, stolen seconds and blink-and-you’ll-miss-them-glances that have all snuck into my life. I like to think of them as ‘memory keepers’. And, I want these memories to last forever. There will always be a moment to freeze, capture and hold onto, and I will never stop chasing them.

If I can create and share something that inspires an individual, brand or client to feel something, that for me is hugely humbling, gratifying and makes me incredibly happy. The idea that someone may travel somewhere or experience something for themselves, invest or try something new based on my work and what I love to do continually gives me the desire, energy and the motivation to keep on creating.

London is my hometown and somewhere I will always have special attachment for. But, travelling around the world is another big love of mine. I consider myself fortunate that during my early career in the travel industry, spanning over 20 years in both web publishing and travel advertising for a UK based airline, I was able to combine my skills and with my love for travelling.

Pushing the boundaries of my passions and creativeness makes me extremely excited about the future.
